The Wapizagonke Lake in our photo is one of about 150 lakes in Canada's La Mauricie National Park. Located halfway between Québec City and Montréal, this park was created in 1970 and is a place for all types of nature lovers. Activities here include hiking, kayaking, paddling, birdwatching, ice climbing and even stargazing. La Mauricie National Park is also home to the Laurentian Mountains, which is one of the oldest mountain ranges in the world. Wildlife in the park includes moose, black bears, beavers and otters.
