Celebrating humble H2O
We’re officially in the third week of October, which can only mean one thing – it’s the start of National Water Week! The annual event was created by the Australian Water Association in the hopes of building awareness around the value of the precious resource within individuals, communities, and organisations alike. The Association has long been trying to support the country’s water industry – dating back to its creation in 1962 when it pushed the importance of water and sanitation after the war.
Throughout the week there are plenty of events you can become a part of. Water night on October 22, for example, encourages all Australians to only use one bucket of water for the evening. There are also plenty of online learning opportunities including interviews, activities and more!
