Pencils at the ready!
The start of September means back to school for children in England and Wales, usually after a six-week summer break. This year however, many children will have had a much longer period with little, if any, time in the classroom, due to the coronavirus pandemic. Children in Scotland and Northern Ireland headed back in August so have had a bit longer to get settled in after a strange few months for schoolchildren, teachers and parents across the world. So whether you are moving up a year, or starting a new school, good luck and remember the wise words of Dr Seuss: “The more that you read, the more things you will know, the more that you learn, the more places you’ll go.”
