Crystal cathedral of commerce. Hidden gem in the financial district

Today, we’re in awe of the festive centerpiece at the Allen Lambert Galleria in Brookfield Place. Designed by Spanish architect, Santiago Calatrava, this galleria is known to be the ‘crystal cathedral of commerce.’ It came into existence as a result of an international competition held to meet the city of Toronto’s public art requirements. Given its unique design, the Allen Lambert Galleria is amongst the most photographed spots in Toronto’s financial district.
